The Record Book

Every champion since 2014, every finish by every manager, and the 2026 season measured down to the bench. Reconstructed season by season from the Yahoo archive, league 714499 and its eleven predecessors.

Champions

Twelve seasons. Six different winners, three of whom have three rings each. Team names change constantly, so the manager is the thing to read.

Rings

Sam is the only man to win three in a row. Seven managers have never won at all.

What the first six weeks turned on

Alex is 5–1 on a five-game winning streak and is simply managing better than everyone else. 95.9% for the season, two perfect lineups, the most points scored, and 121.70 left on the bench all year, less than half what any other team has wasted.

Brooks has benched Drake Maye three weeks running. 27.16, then 40.46, then 23.80: ninety-one points of quarterback watched from the sideline while the $35 Matthew Stafford started every time. He has won the last two anyway, is 2–4, and is down to $5 with fifteen moves made, the most in the league.

Six perfect lineups have been played this season and two of them lost. Calvin’s 109.18 in week 2 by 6.38, and Kozel’s 124.98 in week 5 by 60.36.

Calvin’s zero-waiver-move streak ended at five weeks, and he promptly lost by 3.34 with Carnell Tate’s 16.00 on his bench. His optimal lineup wins it.

Connor has left 322.12 points unplayed, sixty-six more than anyone else, though week 6 was his best managed week of the year at 94.3%.

Cook has started Kyle Pitts in four of six weeks for 0.00, 2.00, 1.00, 12.70 and 20.50. He benched him the one week in between, when Pitts scored 6.20.

Things worth knowing

Sam is the only three-peat in league history. 2018, 2019 and 2020, and he did it without leading the league in scoring in any of them. In 2019 he won the title with the fifth-most points, 329.86 behind Zac. Then came 10th, 4th, 10th, 8th and 11th. Nobody else has swung that far in either direction.

Foster has nine podiums in twelve seasons and the best average finish in the league at 3.50. He also owns both ends of the single-week record: 211.90 in week 16 of 2021, the highest anyone has scored, and 43.10 in week 17 of 2022, the lowest. Fifty-three weeks apart.

Kozel has used the same team name for twelve straight years and finished last in four of them, including three in a row from 2018 to 2020. Worst average finish in the league, no titles, one podium. He does hold the longest win streak on record, thirteen games in 2014, a season he finished fourth.

Austin has never finished in the top three. Twelve seasons, nine different team names, three last-place finishes, and the longest losing streak in league history at nine games in 2022. He is also on the wrong end of the largest beatdown ever recorded, Foster’s 118.52-point win in 2021, back when he was Judge Jeudy.

Brooks is the best manager never to win. Average finish of 4.75, four podiums, and the third-highest season total anyone has posted, 1,930.72 in 2018, which got him third place.

chrisk won the first season on record and vanished. 2014 champion as Taste my rainbow, gone by 2015, replaced by Alex. He is the only departed manager in the archive and retains a perfect record: one season, one title.

Cook is the reigning volatility king. Three titles in four years from 2021, the highest season total ever recorded at 2,009.24 in 2022, and eight team names across twelve years.
